Chris and Melissa met at Runshaw college in 1995 and dated for about a year. However after they graduated from college, they sadly lost contact with each other.
3 years later in 2009, Chris and Melissa found each other through Facebook, they started to date again and it wasn’t long before they fell in love ♥
June 2011 whilst on holiday in Florida, Chris and Melissa where out on a walk. Chris dropped something on the ground, he kneeled down to pick it up, then rose on 1 knee with the wedding ring in his hand and asked Melissa if she’d spend the rest of her life with him by marring him and becoming his wife.
They spent their whole wedding day at Meols Hall in the Tithebarn. Their Vows Ceremony was in the Tithebarn at 1.00pm and due to the weather being amazing meant Melissa, Chris and all their friends and family could enjoy the drink reception in the Meols Hall court yard. Back to the Tithebarn for the Wedding Breakfast at 4.00pm which was cooked and served by Carringtons. My good friends Ian and Hazel MacMichael were taking the photographs and Graham Eyes, the Butcher served up a delicious hog roast for supper. I provided the entertainment which was a challenge due to the hot weather, the cold beers and the lovely court yard at Meols Hall. There was also a certain World Cup game about to start at 11pm, England V Italy!
One with the music:

An amazing day was had by all and the sunshine certainly did contribute as Melissa and Chris are lovers of the sun and the outdoors.
