May 2009 and Dave was enjoying at night out at Zebra Square, Southport. He spotted a stunning lady across the dance-floor who answered to the name of…. Katie.
They got chatting and after Dave’s charms had kicked in, he acquired Katie’s number.
Their first date took them for fish and chips at the Swan chippy, an ice cream at Rossi’s and Karaoke at the Fox and Goose, it wasn’t long before Dave and Katie fell in love….
August 2012, Dave had arranged a trip to Wales to propose. He’d packed the ring and champagne but sadly they had an argument over packing because Dave didn’t want Katie in his bag.
After the dust had settled and Dave cooled off in the shower, down on 1 knee, still naked asked Katie if she would spend the rest of her life with by becoming his wife.
David and Katie tied the knot at Briars Hall, Lancashire on 24th July 2015. I've known Katie for a long time and it was an honour to be part of her big day. Katie has committed the rest of her to a lovely fella, David.
150 of their closest friends helped celebrate the bog day which was joined by some of the most resected wedding vendors in the North West. Friends Steven Rooney from Natural touch photography took care of capturing the pictures and Dominic Morris from Impressions Videography looked after the DVD footage. A&M flowers did the floral and Lemon tree from Southport created a fabulous cake. Our friends at Briars Hall covered the chairs.
During my meeting with Katie and David at the Hesketh Arms in Churchtown, Southport, these are the tracks we cam up with.
